# The Vendor Document Health Audit.

Every VERITY engagement begins with an audit, because decisions made before evidence are guesses. The audit maps the vendor population and evidence gaps, and its findings become the operating scope.

## What it is

The Vendor Document Health Audit reviews the agreed vendor-document population against requirements defined by the client and reports documentation status and gaps. It is not a statutory, financial or certification audit. The audit is a fixed-fee engagement with a written outcome, and it decides what the work actually is.

## What it covers

The audit reviews the agreed vendor-document population: up to 50 vendors and 6 document types per vendor. It reports documentation status and gaps against requirements you define.

Completion means all five deliverables plus the walkthrough.

## Duration and inputs

Completed in 10 business days. The clock starts only after ELVAR receives the agreed complete client inputs. The client provides: vendor list; vendor contact name and email; requirements per vendor type, or approval of an ELVAR template; existing documents already held; named client contact.

## What it is not

Legal advice; compliance determination; authenticity verification (a separate scope entirely); vendor approval decisions (the client decides; VERITY presents the evidence); a guarantee of an audit outcome. The client remains responsible for defining its requirements, making approval decisions and meeting its legal and contractual obligations.

## Audit credit

The audit fee is credited in full against setup if you proceed within 30 days of delivery. The credit applies only against setup, has no cash value and is non-transferable. It is shown as reduced setup, never as a refund or a monthly-service discount.

## What happens next

The audit's findings become the operating scope. The scope and fee are fixed before monthly operations begin. Fees are as shown on the VERITY page.
